The Galaxy’ S4′s internal camera app is brilliant. The sensor (13 megapixels) doesn’t make that much of a difference, but the software that greets you when you use it is incredible 

Multi-tasking is so simple with the S4. We wanted to find out if we could slow the s4 down by using different applications rapidly, shuffling between them and opening and closing several times rapidly by playing a video, taking a picture, using Facebook and another social media app. No problem for the brilliant S4 whilst other phones including the iphone don’t do this as well as the s4. This phone is much quicker than the Vision IT geeks expected.

O2 – Free WiFi on the London Underground

Virgin Media has announced that it has signed up O₂ as a wholesale partner for its WiFi on London Underground service, giving customers access to free London Underground WiFi from June.

From the end of June, O₂ customers will be able to get access to free WiFi on the London Underground. Please note that it is NOT O₂ WiFi on the Underground, it is wifi provided by Virgin Media that O₂ customers will be able to access.

As part of the deal, all existing O₂ business mobile customers signed up to O₂ WiFi will be automatically registered for free WiFi on the Underground, taking away the need to sign up above ground or remembering a password. O2 Business Mobile customers without wifi will need to sign up for this service using o2 wifi hotspot or download the o2 wifi app for Android or iPhone/iPad.

EE is doubling the speed and capacity of its 4G network. The arrival of double-speed 4G, will lift the achievable top speeds of 4G from EE to more than 80Mbps on Business Mobiles.

• 4G speeds will be twice as fast, with double-speed 4G, watching high-definition videos and content on the move will be better than ever. Searching maps, downloading photos and sending big email attachments will be quicker too.

• Existing and new 4GEE customers will benefit from the increased speeds

• Double-speed 4G will be available in 10 cities from summer: Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Sheffield, with coverage in additional towns and cities following shortly.

• Existing 4GEE customers will get faster 4G speeds automatically, irrespective of their 4G device or price plan. They won’t have to pay any extra.

Will I have to pay more?

No, double-speed 4G will be available free of charge to existing 4GEE customers. The service is compatible with all existing 4G smartphones, tablets and dongles.

What’s the difference between what you’re announcing now and my current 4G?

What we’re announcing today will deliver even faster speeds than our existing 4GEE service -raising the average 4G speed experienced to 20Mbps, and offering peaks as high as 80Mbps.The doubling of speeds is enabled by the final stage of integration and optimisation of the EE network.

Do I need a new device or do I need to do anything to do this?

If you have a 4G-ready device, you do not need to do anything. Your phone will support our doublespeed 4G technology when available. There is no need to upgrade your device. There is no need to change any device settings.

How will I know when I am benefiting from the faster speeds?

There will be no different network indicator on the customers’ phone. It will continue to display 4G or LTE whenever they are connected to 4G however they will experience mobile speeds faster than any other network in the UK, even when other 4G networks have launched. Also, as more and more people sign up to 4G services, 4G from EE will always have the capacity to deliver superfast speeds – even on busy cell sites at peak times.

Data usage in Europe will be capped at 15MB a day for £1.66. That’s enough to visit around 200 standard websites, send up to 30 emails with photos attached or hundreds without attachments. It’s more than the average person’s usage when in the UK.

Always in control:

If your business mobile is getting close to their daily data limit, O2 will text them. They can then choose to get an extra 15MB for another £1.66.  You can add more data to their O2 Travel allowance at any point during the day. If you need more data on your business mobile you will be able to reset your allowance for a further £1.66 by texting more data to 23336 which will give them an additional 15MB that day. These texts cost 7p.

If you don’t want O2 Travel, you can choose to pay our standard rates in Europe, just call the number on your bill or on 202 from your mobile.
